SUBEB: New Boss Caution Staff to Improve on Prudent Management
The newly appointed executive chairman of Bauchi State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) Alhaji Adamu Mohammed Duguri has urged the entire management and general staff of the board to exercise cautious when discharging their responsibilities at all times in order to improve quality service delivery on primary education in Bauchi state
The newly appointed boss stated this during his maiden management and general staff meetings held at the conference hall of the board recently
He pointed out that, any position one occupied he or she must work according to the rules and regulation for sustainable growth and development of education sector at the grassroots level, to ensure children's access to qualitative education and conducive learning environment
Am here to rescue the lost glory of Subeb not to witch-hunt anybody "am not here to blackmail any staff I come here to ensure we rebuild Subeb to compete with other parastatals of government agencies in terms of structures good policies and programs, issues of salary and general welfare of staff is going to be my outmost priority" he said

According to him issues concerning education particularly at the basic level cannot be overemphasize, everyone must do what is right at the right time.

Therefore, anyone found wanting in the course of his duty he would bear the consequences, it show he is not ready to work together fir the upliftment of the board to a greater height.
In his remark the Subeb Permanent Secretary Alhaji Sale Yakubu Ningi assured the new executive chairman that they would ensure total support to his leadership for the benefit of the entire education sector and the generality of the citizenry
He also advised to checkmate where necessary to bridge the gap on the issues of salary and overall welfare of staff to ensure transparent and accountability prudent management of resources within the board.
The new chairman also called the attention of general staff to be punctual while coming to work because it gives more value in the execution of the programs of the board from top to bottom
Moreso, in his vote of thanks the Director Admin and Human Resources Alhaji Saminu Mohammed Gidado drums their support to the new boss pray for him to succeed in uplifting the board, and deliver on his promises to change the shape of the board through purposeful leadership, and he promise that they would not let him down
