Bauchi Councillor, Renovates Over Ten Boreholes in Bogoro C.Ward

Councillor representing good people of Bogoro C Ward, Bogoro local government area of Bauchi State, Honorable Gwandah Simon, known as Gatan Kowa, has renovated over ten (10) pumping Boreholes in his ward

The benefiting communities in the area appreciate the gesture saying they will ensure protection and sustainablity of the water facility, the communities which includes, Kurum dodo, Kurum Bakin Kasuwa, Kurum Sarauta, Bogoro and Kadunan Bogoro.

Simon said the people of the communities will continue fetch from the renovated borehole and also get drinking water without much stress in addition it would serve those engaged in rearing animals and irrigation farming.

He said that "This is the beginning, I will be going round all the ward and be checking in case I found any community with a similar problem then we'll rectify it with immediate effect so that people will know that am not in government to play but to work for my people.

According to the councillor, "Provision of potable water to my ward was one of my campaign promises that is why I started fulfilling through community developmental Projects with the provision of water supply"

Adding that "I was born in Bogoro C Ward and I know the main problem of my area since I was a child, so this is the right time for to solve their challenges one after the other"

"I must provide enough water supply to my ward because is the headquarters of the Bogoro local government area of the state"

He urged all people of the communities in  to exhibit maturity in handling the facility, fir the benefit of all

The Councillor also thanked the local government chairman, Surveyor Yakubu Lawi Sumi and governor Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir for supporting them in all their activities.

Speaking on behalf of the communities, the village head of Bogoro, Mr. Nuhu Tafida expressed his appreciation while commending the effort of the councillor for the provision of water supply to some communities in Bogoro C Ward. would not go unnotice.

He appeal to the Councillor in order to continue with the good work in order all the units that formed the ward, so that they can have enough water to drink and take care of their animals.
