WSD: North East S.O.N Leads Street Walk Awareness, 2024 Celebrations in Bauchi

The North East Regional Operation Office of the Standard Organization of Nigeria (SON)  joined the international community to celebrate World Standards Day, with a walk rally through the streets in Bauchi.
The Head of the North East Regional Operations, Mr James Danladi lead the major and minor companies to show the efforts and shared his vision for a better products in the world.

Emphasizing the importance of standards in achieving Sustainable Development Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), "Standardization is crucial for Nigeria's economic growth and development,"

Mr James said.The Standard Organization of Nigeria has instituted initiatives and implemented policies aimed at promoting industrial growth and building a strong economic institution.

"These efforts align with President Tinubu's administration agenda," Mr James added. SON works with international partners to achieve Sustainable Development Goals, ensuring peace, prosperity, and well-being for all.
Mr James Yakzum praised staff, National Technical Committee members, and global experts for their tireless efforts in developing and maintaining standards on this day of 24/10/2024 as Standards Day.

While leading other SON officials on the Walk, in a Bauchi, Mr Danladi James, revealed that, the Standard Organization of Nigeria has instituted initiatives and implemented policies aimed at promoting industrial growth and building a strong economic institution.
