Eid-el-Fitr: Bogoro Councillors Leader, Simon Felicitates Gov Bala, Muslims, Urges More Prayers For Peace

The Councillors Leader of Bogoro local government Area of Bauchi State, Honorable Gwandah Simon on Friday felicitates with Governor Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir and the entire Muslim community in the State on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, marking end of the month-long Ramadan fasting.

Gwandah Simon who is the councillor representing Bogoro C.Ward. Said that the Holy month of Ramadan provided an opportunity to pray and seek divine intervention for the state and country’s security situation.

The councillors leader, Gwandah Simon advises Muslim community to continue to practice the lessons learned during Ramadan even after the month has ended.

According to him said “Eid-al-Fitr is a time of great joy as it represents the successful completion of the fasting period and spiritual reflection in the Holy month of Ramadan.

“To address Nigeria’s security challenges and economic hardship, we must watch out for each other, remain steadfast in your prayers, and support the government’s efforts to end all vices and criminalities.

“I congratulate all Muslim communities in Bogoro local government area, Bauchi State, Nigeria and around the world. May you celebrate many more Eids in good health.”

The Councillors Leader, Honorable Gwandah Simon urged Muslim in Bogoro to use the festive period to promote peace and harmony in the state. 

He expressed his appreciation to the local government chairman, Surveyor Yakubu Lawi Sumi for making the LG To live peaceful and also supporting the 13 ward councillors in all their activities.
