Wunti Al-khair Puts Smile on 3,500 Residents of Bauchi with Ramadan Support

No fewer than 3,500 residents of Bauchi have benefited from the support program initiated and distributed by Wunti-Al-khair foundation Bauchi based non governmental organization to people across all the twenty local government areas of the state.

Coordinator of the distribution the programme manager Ango Mustapha disclosed that , the beneficiaries cut across less privileged and other vulnerable groups as well as the poorest among others in various communities, as according to foundation the palliatives includes food items and other materials

Mustapha said, they were guided by “the principles and values of our Chairman and Founder, Dr. Bala Wunti, which are compassion, generosity, and social responsibility, over the years have provided sustainable interventions that improve lives, foster unity, and promote development"

“As part of our annual Ramadan Support Programme, we have implemented several impactful initiatives aimed at ensuring that the less privileged, fasting Muslims, and the broader Bauchi community experience the blessings of Ramadan with dignity and ease" he noted.

The program manager continue that, “in our ongoing effort to combat hunger and food insecurity, the Foundation has distributed over 20,000 bags of rice across the 20 LGA in Bauchi State. This initiative ensures that families have access to essential food supplies throughout the Ramadan period".

He explained that, "the Foundation also provided over 3,000 cooked meals daily to fasting Muslims in various communities across Bauchi, offering nourishment to those in need and fostering a spirit of communal support"

He observed that, Wunti Al-khair provided opportunity for over 200 children to participate in Quran recitation at the Eid ground during Ramadan. This initiative encourages young Muslims to deepen the Holy Qur'anic knowledge and it teaching with, while also providing food for them and other members of the Muslim ummah coomunity around the Eid ground and beyond.

“In the spirit of Eid, we have distributed over thousands of new clothes to the less privileged, ensuring that many individuals, especially children, can celebrate with dignity and happiness during Sallah festivities"

“To enhance the spiritual experience of Ramadan, the Foundation has sponsored the broadcast of Quranic Tafsirs by esteemed Islamic scholars across major radio and TV stations. This ensures that many individuals, including those who may not have access to physical gatherings, can benefit from valuable Islamic teachings,” he added.

Some of the beneficiaries couldn't hide their joys while expressing satisfaction with the arrangement during the distribution to avoid stampede and thanked the organizers for the gesture.

Khadijah Auwal she's among the beneficiaries “You can see, this is 25kg of rice. It is clean with no stones. This is a lot to my family and we are grateful to Bala Wunti's handout to we the Muslim ummah at this material time". she said.
