The Governor of Bauchi State, Sen. Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has fulfilled his promise to support the family of the late journalist Kabiru Ahmed Ilelah by donating N5 million to them.
The donation, comprising N2.5 million for each of the deceased’s two wives, follows Ilelah’s death months ago in a road accident along Yelwan Duguri Road while on official duty.
The assistance was presented by a delegation representing the governor, in fulfilment of his commitment to support the family.
The delegation was led by the Bauchi State Commissioner for Information, Usman Usman Shehu, alongside the Governor’s Special Adviser on Media, Comrade Mukhtar M. Gidado, and other senior media officers.
