BAUCHI — The Chairman of the Electoral Committee of the Nigerian Red Cross Society, Alhaji Abdullahi Jibrin, has described the election of new executives for the Bauchi State Branch as free, fair, and credible.
Speaking to newsmen shortly after the inauguration at the Society’s Bauchi branch office, Jibrin, who is also the Kaduna State Branch Chairman, attributed the success of the exercise to the support and cooperation of members across the society’s hierarchy in Bauchi State.
He urged the new executives to understand that the Red Cross is a voluntary organization and called on members to give their maximum support to achieve set objectives.
The newly inaugurated Chairman of the Nigerian Red Cross Society, Bauchi State Branch, Alhaji Aminu S. Abubakar, described the responsibility as a challenge, noting that the Society is a committed organization dedicated to humanitarian services.
The new chairman reassured members of his commitment to work as a team to justify the mandate bestowed on them, and thanked all members for electing them to steer the affairs of the society.

Sadiq Mohammed Shitu– Capacity Development Adviser
Mohammed Ussaini– Divisional Development Adviser
Sagir Yakubu Aliyu – Youth, Gender and Volunteer Adviser
