The Coordinating Minister of Health, Prof. Muhammad Ali Pate, and the Bauchi State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, have empowered ward chairmen with motorcycles ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The distribution of 323 motorcycles, supported by the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Prof. Pate, was held on Saturday at the event center under a grassroots empowerment initiative.
While presenting the motorcycles, the minister said party members must remain focused and united, stressing that unity is key to victory for the APC at the polls in all positions, from top to bottom.
Pate assured members that the donation was just the beginning and promised that more support was in the pipeline.
He added that the gesture was intended to reinforce and boost the party’s structure, enhance grassroots mobilization, and create awareness on the need to re-elect President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term in office and Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar as Bauchi governor in 2027.
Meanwhile, the State APC Chairman, Muhammad Hassan Tilde, commended Prof. Pate for the effort, describing it as clear testimony of the minister’s commitment to the growth and success of the party at the ward level and across the state.
During an interview with newsmen shortly after the distribution at the venue, the APC State Public Relations Officer, Alhaji Shehu Dauda Muhammad, said the presentation of the 323 motorcycles cannot be overemphasized as a morale booster for party members across the state.
