Emir of Jama’are Commends Bala Wunti’s Humanitarian Services

His Royal Highness, Alhaji Nuhu Ahmed Wabi, MNI, the Emir of Jama’are, has commended renowned philanthropist and development advocate, Dr. Bala Maijama’a Wunti, for his enduring commitment to humanitarian service and community development across Jama’are Emirate.
The emir made the commendation on Friday while receiving management and staff of Bala Wunti Support Organisation, BWSO, on a courtesy visit to his palace in Jama’are.
This was disclosed in a statement by the Public Relations Officer of the organisation, Kamal Ibrahim, and made available to journalists on Sunday.
The emir described Dr. Wunti as an exceptional son of Bauchi State whose numerous interventions in education, healthcare, youth empowerment, and community development have positively impacted countless lives within and beyond Jama’are Emirate.
“Dr. Bala Wunti is always connected to Jama’are Emirate, both in moments of joy and otherwise. He has implemented several community development projects in Jama’are Emirate,” the emir said.
According to the emir, Dr. Wunti’s unwavering dedication to the welfare of humanity has distinguished him as a successful philanthropist whose life of service deserves emulation.
He urged Dr. Wunti to remain steadfast in his commitment to supporting vulnerable communities and advancing initiatives that improve the living conditions of the people.
The emir further assured the organisation of the emirate’s continued support for programmes and initiatives aimed at promoting social development, peace, and prosperity within the area.
Speaking earlier, the Chief Executive Officer of Bala Wunti Support Organisation, BWSO, Malam Mukhtar Ahmed Jarmajo, who was represented by the state coordinator, Hon. Sha’abdin Bello Zalanga, expressed profound appreciation to the emir for his fatherly guidance and unwavering support for the organisation’s activities in Jama’are Emirate.
He noted that the warm reception accorded to the delegation was a reflection of the strong relationship between the traditional institution and the organisation, adding that BWSO remains committed to complementing efforts geared towards improving the well-being of communities across Bauchi State.
Jarmajo stated that Dr. Bala Wunti’s humanitarian philosophy is rooted in the belief that sustainable development can only be achieved when individuals and organisations deliberately invest in people and communities.
He reaffirmed the organisation’s determination to continue supporting initiatives that address critical social needs, empower young people, and create opportunities for economic growth.
The BWSO CEO also reiterated the organisation’s respect for traditional institutions, describing them as vital partners in community mobilisation, peaceful coexistence, and grassroots development.
