The Society of Nigeria Broadcasters, SNB, Taraba State chapter elected an interim executive to lead the association. Mr. Lynn Adda emerged as state chairman, Kabiru Jalo as secretary, Linda Gwana as treasurer and Jonathan A. Tikon as public relations officer.
The pioneer leadership was elected during the chapter’s inaugural meeting to steer the affairs of broadcasters in Taraba State. The new executives emerged through a nomination process followed by acceptance of nominations. In his acceptance speech, acting Chairman Lynn Adda called for increased mobilisation and a membership drive to enhance the welfare and professional development of broadcasters.
The election was held during the inaugural meeting, according to a press release signed by acting Secretary Kabiru Jalo.
The meeting took place at the Nigeria for Women Project office in Jalingo, the Taraba State capital.
The association resolved to work collectively to promote professionalism, unity and advancement of the broadcasting industry in Taraba State. The new leadership emphasised the need to expand membership and strengthen the association to better serve broadcasters in the state.
