The People Democratic Party PDP Gubernatorial Campaign Council in Taraba State has released appointments for its 251-members ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
The appointment was contained in a statement signed by the party’s governorship candidate, Sen. Emmanuel Bwacha CON, and made available to newsmen in Jalingo on Monday by the Director of Publicity of the Council, Sulaiman Ibrahim Ahmed.
According to the statement, the Council consists of 23 Directorates, including Door to Door Zonal and Local Government Coordination offices. Amb. Hassan Jika Ardo was named as Chairman of the Council while Engr. Augustine Bazing will serve as Alternate Chairman.
The statement also named Hon. Sule Abubakar Ndigmay as Director General of the Council and Dr. Yakubu Agbidye as Alternate DG. The Directorates include Strategy, Research and Planning; Women Engagement; Youth Engagement; Legal and Compliance; Persons with Disabilities and INEC Liaison among others.
Bwacha in the statement charged members of the council to work hard to justify the confidence reposed in them in the project of fixing Taraba State.
Meanwhile, the campaign flag-off has been scheduled to hold on Saturday, 10th October, 2026 in Zing, headquarters of Zing Local Government Area.
