BAUCHI — The National Chairman of the Allied People’s Movement, APM, Alhaji Yusuf Dantalle, has criticized the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over the country’s security situation, saying Nigeria needs a reset to achieve meaningful development through good governance.
He stated this while responding to questions at the Government House in Bauchi during a visit to Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed, and other party stakeholders ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Dantalle explained that it was time for Nigerians to elect a credible opposition for the betterment of the entire country.
He lamented that Nigeria had remained silent as an entity while watching the maltreatment of Nigerians in South Africa over xenophobia.
The APM National Chairman described the situation of the country under the present administration as unfortunate, adding that APM provides a better platform for all Nigerians.
The party leadership also maintained that an APM-led Federal Government would reform the country’s security architecture to ensure that those entrusted with responsibility are empowered with the authority required to protect lives and property.
The meeting is part of a statewide consultation to strengthen the structure of the party at the grassroots ahead of the 2027 general elections.
