The name of Hon. Abubakar Sani Kugu, candidate for Zaria Kewaye Constituency in the Kaduna State House of Assembly, has been confirmed on the list of candidates released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the forthcoming 2027 general elections.
Kugu, who will contest on the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), was among the candidates who scaled through the verification and screening process conducted by the electoral body.
His appearance on the INEC list confirms his eligibility to contest for the Zaria Kewaye State Assembly seat in the 2027 polls.
In his reaction, Hon. Kugu thanked Almighty Allah for the successful clearance and urged his supporters and party faithful in Zaria Kewaye to rally around him and intensify grassroots mobilisation for the success of the party at the polls.
