Islamic movement of Nigeria in Bauchi state joined their counterpart across the world to mourn the martyrdom of the grand son of the Holy Prophet (Peace be Upon Him)
the procession took place in major street within the state capital amid scorching sun on Friday.
Report indicated that the same procession of millions of Muslims members poured into major streets in cities across Nigeria to express grief and mourn upon him and his progeny, the third Shia Imam, Hussein ibn Ali, AS.
The massive demonstrations came after 10 days of mourning gatherings held in at least 600 towns and communities, where scholars from both the Shia and Sunni schools of thought delivered lectures on the tragedy inflicted upon the Ahlulbayt by the Umayyad dynasty at Karbala in 61 AH, 680 CE.
As in many other cities, hundreds of thousands of mourners took to the streets dressed in black and carrying flags of Imam Hussein, as well as those of Iran and Palestine.
