Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has congratulated his Bauchi State counterpart, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, on his 68th birthday.
The statement contained in a press release by Director General Media and Publicity Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa
Kano Government House.
The statement said, governor Yusuf described the birthday as an opportunity to acknowledge Senator Bala Mohammed’s years of dedicated service to the people of Bauchi State and Nigeria, particularly his contributions to public administration, legislation and democratic governance.
He noted that the Bauchi Governor has had a long and distinguished career in public service, having served in various capacities in the federal civil service before his election to the Senate in 2007.
Governor Yusuf further acknowledged Senator Bala Mohammed’s service as Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, where he served from 2010 to 2015, before becoming Governor of Bauchi State in 2019.
The Kano Governor said Senator Bala Mohammed’s experience across journalism, public administration, legislative duties and executive leadership has enriched his public service career.
He congratulated the Bauchi Governor on attaining 68 and wished him continued wisdom, good health, strength and renewed commitment in the discharge of his responsibilities to the people of Bauchi State.
Governor Yusuf also prayed Allah to grant Senator Bala Mohammed many more years in good health and fulfilment, and to continue to guide him in his service to humanity and the nation.
